Start with the idea

Describe work truthfully and within its release rules.

Support the result and your contribution separately. Keep the training setting visible. Leaving out details does not itself establish that a real workplace claim is cleared for release.

Release review: The applicable process for deciding whether particular material may be shared.

A made-up teaching example

Riley wrote three tests for a ten-question training collection and found two unsupported citations. This supports that narrow statement. It does not prove an agency deployment or 40 percent improvement.

Ask yourself

Can you turn a training result into a workplace outcome by changing the wording?

Show the explanation

No. Keep its conditions and evidence. Actual customer descriptions and metrics may also require release review.

Start with these checks

  • Support each result and contribution.
  • Say that the training setting is made up.
  • Follow applicable release requirements.

Use the different practice case below and check every requirement in its full instructions.

Make claims both truthful and releasable. Build a judgment you can explain and a result another reader can inspect.

Prerequisites: know the difference between generated text and source evidence. For configuration vocabulary, use the AI workflow reference. This is public self-study, not official government training, accreditation, a clearance or a professional credential.

Observable outcomes: Rewrite synthetic career claims using artifact, contribution and limitation; explain why generic wording does not confer release approval.

Part 1 Make claims both truthful and releasable

A good accomplishment states your contribution, method, result, evidence and limitations. Removing a program name does not make the remaining text releasable: quantities, dates, customer type, locations, vulnerabilities and relationships may still reveal protected context. Use the applicable security or prepublication review process before publishing real work. An interviewee or interviewer holding a clearance does not itself authorize disclosure in that room.

For ordinary self-study, start with wholly synthetic artifacts instead of sanitizing real sensitive records. Say which part you built and which part came from a template, teammate or assistant. Describe a tested classroom prototype as a tested classroom prototype. A metric needs its denominator, baseline, procedure and scope; never invent workplace savings from lab results.

Part 2 Synthetic worked example

Synthetic evidence: Riley wrote three retrieval tests for a fictional ten-question corpus. Two unsupported citations were caught. Supported bullet: “Designed three citation checks for a synthetic retrieval exercise and documented two unsupported outputs.” Unsupported bullet: “Deployed an agency AI platform and improved accuracy 40%.” No deployment or improvement measurement exists.

Guided practice: write the tempting conclusion first, then underline the fact that does not support it. Rewrite the conclusion with that limitation visible. Identify one additional observation that would change the decision.

Next step: carry your artifact into a bounded career plan in lesson 07; retain assumptions and unanswered questions.
