A text editor and supplied fictional decision packets. No purchase, procurement action or operational approval is performed.
Start with the idea
Keep ownership and testing current after the first demonstration.
Changes to sources, models or tool access can invalidate earlier evidence. Assign owners for those parts. Keep a manual fallback while changed behavior is checked.
Change record: A description of what changed and which evidence must be reviewed again.
See the example and check your understanding
A made-up teaching example
The source, connector scope and model all change after the last evaluation. Nobody owns source review. Pause the unsupported expansion and rerun the relevant permission and evidence cases.
Ask yourself
Does a promised model upgrade establish that the changed workflow is ready?
Show the explanation
No. Resumption depends on observed checks and the required decision, not the promise.
Start with these checks
- Assign source and configuration owners.
- Review unsupported material before release.
- Keep the manual fallback usable.
Use the different practice case below and check every requirement in its full instructions.
Full learning objectives
- Identify maintenance and user-support duties.
- Define change review and rollback.
- Distinguish self-study completion from organizational capability.

The method
Adoption depends on usable workflows, training, support and clear responsibility. Identify who owns sources, permissions, model configuration, evaluation cases and incident handling. A course completion record is not proof that a team can perform the work safely; inspect artifacts and task performance.
Plan for changes to sources, models, tools and policies. Keep a version record and rerun relevant evaluations before accepting material changes. Provide a manual fallback and a rollback decision owner. Collect enough evidence to investigate errors while respecting actual data and retention requirements. A larger or newer model does not eliminate the need for these controls.
Choose your model, harness and offline route
Text-only assistant
Use supplied text. Ask for a plan or draft; do not claim browsing, code execution or file access that was unavailable.
Tool-enabled application or harness
Record which tools actually run, allowed files and actions, approval boundaries and observable results. Tools are optional unless the task needs them.
Local or cloud deployment
Inspect inference, retrieval, connectors, logs and storage separately. Use only authorized environments for real data; training fixtures are fictional.
Higher-capability or frontier model
Evaluate the exact task and configuration. Capability does not supply missing evidence or grant permission. No provider ranking or guarantee is implied.
Offline alternative
Use the supplied inputs and inspect the worked example manually. Builder exercises use local deterministic Python. No paid account or live model call is required.
Record the exact product/model label when available, tools actually used, inputs, permitted actions, observed output and checks. Live accounts or APIs may have external costs; they are optional and are not used by this page.

Supplied input
Fictional deployed assistant: source updated, connector scope expanded, model changed. Last evaluation predates all three; nobody owns source review.
A checked result
Pause unsupported expansion. Assign source and configuration owners, update the change record, rerun relevant permission and evidence cases, and retain the manual process.
Why this works
Changes can invalidate earlier evidence. Maintenance ownership is part of the system’s usefulness.
Try a different case
Independent case: a briefing assistant’s source owner leaves; one template becomes stale; two users report unsupported statements. Draft a recovery and ownership plan without assuming a technical fix is already verified.

Plan recovery before resuming
Use the supplied independent case above. Check the bounded decisions, then review your written artifact against the full acceptance criteria.
Everything runs in this browser. No AI model is called and no work is uploaded. Bounded checks cover specific facts and rules. Your writing is not graded: you review it yourself. Practice never marks a lesson complete automatically.
Include affected outputs, manual fallback, review owner and version triggers.
Try the task, run the checks, then revise. Checks are teaching feedback, not an instructor grade.
Observed browser simulation
This trace comes from the bounded local checker. It is not a Python run, model result or production tool execution.
Keep or restore your work
Drafts are not saved automatically. Save only fictional practice data. A browser draft may be lost if storage is cleared; download a copy to keep it.
Your steps
- Name interim ownership and a review/escalation route.
- Define fallback and conditions for resuming use.
- Specify source/version checks and user communication.
Check your work
- Unsupported material is reviewed before release.
- A manual fallback remains usable.
- Resumption depends on observed checks, not a promised model upgrade.
After your attempt: review notes and a common mistake
“Switch models and resume” skips source and process problems. A good plan addresses ownership, affected outputs and evidence needed to restore confidence.
Different wording or a different justified decision can pass. Check your work against every requirement; these notes are not an automated grade.
Explain your approach
What change should trigger reevaluation even if the interface looks identical?
Keep your artifact, one correction or decision, its evidence and one remaining limitation. Nothing on this page sends or uploads your work.
Check your understanding
Choose an answer to see feedback. This is a knowledge check, not instructor assessment.
Review your independent practice
Complete the supplied task before recording progress. Use the acceptance criteria and reveal the review notes after your attempt. Keep your artifact yourself; nothing is uploaded.
Not yet self-reviewed. Completion stays in this browser and does not issue a badge.
